If you plug a flashdisk or a external harddisk on your computer, automically Windows operating System will run the AutoPlay function. From a dialog box, you can choose several options: Open to view file, play audio format, burn the image or take no action,. You can disactivate this function via registry editor.
You should open registry editor by clicking “Start | Run “, enter to refer key “HKEY_CURRENT_USER | Software | Microsoft| Windows | CurrentVersion | Policies ||Explorer”. See the entry in the right window. Dopuble-click on the “NoDriveTypeAutoRun” entry then change 91 value in “Value Data” with 95. After it, click “OK”.
It's trecommended after changing the value in the "NoDriveTypeAutoRun" entry and closing the registry, you should restart your computer to see the change. If in the next time you will to activate the AutoPlay function, you can rechange the value in the "Value Data " to 91.
